The most average releases of September 2010

While we're tempted to rat out No Age and Deerhunter for not exceeding past milestones, at the end of the day making a full band album that sounds like your nearly-as-recognized sensitive solo project isn't really a crime of mediocrity so much as a failure to color within the lines. (For the record, we still heart “Adorno” and Smell references.)

More importantly, WTF happened to G.O.O.D. Music Day? We knew it was an impossible feat but for not a single G.O.O.D. music artist to drop an LP in September? Weak shit.
