Tom Hall, a producer out of Australia who is now located in LA, released a new track this week and its only imperfection is that its title misleads. In the beautiful ambient song “Fall Into Dark”, pianos stutter and shift while wide, ethereal tones move through swaths of melancholy. If you're in the right headspace, you will likely walk away from the track feeling lighter and cleansed of sadness, as it seems to grip onto those feelings and pull them away. By the song's close, a thunderstorm erupts and its not the threatening kind, it's the soothing kind. At an elemental level, this track is like taking a cool shower in the rain.
This track comes from a new Tom Hall record, Many Days End, out on Sonoptik on November 6.
