Bastards of the Party marks the return of the posse hook on “Wave Ride” and the duration of the record dwells in a late nights condition courtesy of Black Noi$e, SPVCE, Jansport J, Nick Catchdubs, and Thelonious Martin. Much like Onyx's debut was mythically recorded under the influence of mushrooms, Bastards of the Party gives the impression the creativity was encouraged by a heavy presence of illicit substances.
