While most of the world may know him as Thomas Jefferson and Marquis de Lafayette from the record-breaking Broadway musical Hamilton, he’ll always be a member of clipping to Impose. Still, our perceived notion of the now superstar will have to be suppressed, while we take a moment to be impressed by his most recent title: Tony Award nominee for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.

Part of a record 16 nominations for Hamilton, Diggs dual-starring role has rightfully brought him attention from names as mighty as Obama and Beyonce, and he was recently featured in Time Magazine. We’re certainly pulling for Diggs, even if partly so we can one day say, “we had a Tony Award winning actor do a sit-down interview on our Newtown Radio show.”
