It’s not officially due out until October 28, but earlier this morning El-P and Killer Mike, collectively known as Run The Jewels, got antsy about giving their record to the masses. Both decided it was a good idea to leak RTJ2 via Twitter and a direct link.

RTJ2 was leaked illegally prior to Killer Mike and El-P taking action into their own hands. And while the leak is unfortunate and the official links are a generous gift, Run The Jewels’ pre-order situation certainly helps inspire the group into a giving spirit. The group sold out of all four of its vinyl preorder packages and just reached its Kickstarter goal for the ostentatious Meow The Jewels project, which will feature contributions from Skywlkr, Geoff Barrow, Baauer, Just Blaze, Zola Jesus, and Dan The Automator.
