Places To Hide announce final record, Strange Lyfe

In 2013, Atlanta band Places To Hide released Almost Nothing, a pop-punk record featuring lyrics that perfectly capture the feeling of being young, broke, and in love such as “The summer is so hot / and I just want to have sex with you” and “I cried myself to sleep again / I know that that’s not punk.” While a majority of the lyrics are situationally or emotionally relatable, they were set apart by the lack of restraint with which they were delivered. The foursome followed up Almost Nothing with the Tiny Engines-released Wild N Soft 7” a year later. The four songs seemed to promise another full-length, and today, Places To Hide announce their final album, Strange Lyfe.

Strange Lyfe is out on LP and CD via Irrelevant Recordings on September 20. You can pre-order the record here.
