Ryan Hemsworth shares first single of his second studio album

Ryan Hemsworth has just unveiled “Snow In Newark”, which comes off his forthcoming sophomore studio album. It features vocals from Mad Decent/Houses member Dexter Tortoriello, going by the name of Dawn Golden. Hemsworth spoke to Vogue about his direction with this track, saying “it’s about trying to get back to my first love, emo music, actually… Maybe it’s a reaction to all the party music out there now, but I just needed to do something a little quieter—every song I do is in a minor key.” 

“Snow In Newark” comes out October 28 on 7″ vinyl (b/w “Body Pillow” (feat. Ricky Eat Acid) via Last Gang/Secret Songs. Stay tuned for updates on the forthcoming album and stream the new track below.
