They (whoever “they” are, I will never know) say that nothing is certain except for death and taxes, but maybe Ty Segall-releasing-at-least-two-albums-a-year should be added to that silly trope. It seems that all the Californian does is eat, sleep, and write raucous garage-rock tunes. So it should come to no surprise that Ty Segall’s announced another (double[!]) album, Manipulator, due August 26 via Drag City Records, where the album is currently available for pre-order.
Along with the album announcement, he’s also released an album teaser and announced a staggeringly long and comprehensive tour of the U.S. and Europe. Check out the teaser and tour dates below.
