Tyler, The Creator presented with key to the city of Boulder

In an atypical promotion for his new album, Wolf, Tyler, The Creator staged a ridiculous mock ceremony in the city of Boulder where the prankster rapper was presented with a key to the city. Backed by an unimpressive smattering of his fans, a marching band, and a pickup truck, the OF leader took to the streets of Boulder, where he claims to have done community service and spent his formative years. All untrue, but wildly entertaining nonetheless, especially considering the banner his team carries bears the phrase “I'm home!” with a huge dick underneath it.

The whole event reminds one of the scene in Dave Chappelle's Block Party leading up to Kanye's performance, when he was wearing that weird camel-colored houndstooth blazer, and he was backed by a high school marching band. Except this was scaled down by a thousand and way less aggrandizing. The best part about this whole stunt is that it was produced by Lance Bangs. Keep on doing you, Tyler.
