Zachary Cole Smith of DIIV, 28, and his girlfriend, Sky Ferreira, 21, were arrested at 12:30am on Saturday night in Saugerties, NY on several accounts of drug possession and car infractions, which included driving without a license and possession of stolen property. According to The Daily Freeman, the couple had 42 decks of heroin, as well as ecstacy, and Ferreira resisted arrest. Smith performed the next night, Saturday, (after posting bail) at the Pitchfork-sponsored Basilica Soundscape in Hudson, NY, and lives in the area. Through some cursory googling, it appears that 42 decks of heroin roughly translates to 42 bags between 1 and 15 grams, but both were let off with misdemeanor charges.
