Dellavedova: Mad Matt Fury Road

Post Author:

The biggest surprise of the NBA Finals so far has been the way Matthew Dellavedova has stepped up in the absence of Kyrie Irving. Who? Exactly. The 24-year-old is only in his second year in the NBA, but is already showing some veteran savvy in terms of attacking his opposition in an aggressive, some might say dirty, fashion. Coincidentally, as the NBA playoffs were starting, the movie Mad Max: Fury Road was released. In Mad Max we’re introduced to a psychotic group of soldiers of Immortan Joe. Given his physical speed, dedication to his leader (LeBron James) and a penchant for putting his adversary in harms way, I think it’s easy to see that Matty D is a War Boy.

We don’t know what ever happened to the feral child from Mad Max but can you see a resemblance?
