This past weekend, English electro-industrial producer Blanck Mass unleashed a lush, ear-shattering set upon a spellbound crowd at L.A.’s Zebulon. The Fuck Buttons member delivered bombastic melodies, towering experimental layers of noise, guttural shrieks, and a raw punk intensity as he raced through several hits off his most recent album (and one of the year’s best), Animated Violence Mild. Fans were left enthralled as his ominous silhouette hovered over a flurry of staticky visuals. A truly explosive performance.
