Post Author: ,

On Sunday, September 29th, the sixth annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival came to an end with “Pretty Good Friends: Celebrating the Season 4 Premiere of Bob's Burgers” featuring sets by some of the comedians who have appeared on the show such as Larry Murphy (Teddy) who read Amazon.com reviews of sex toys, Hannibal Buress (Heavy Jeff; a character that appears in season 4), Jon Glaser (Jairo, the capoiera instructor) who chugged beer to Van Halen's “Panama” and gave out high fives while running through the audience, Kristen Schaal (Louise Belcher) who ended her set with an impression of “Quantum Leap”'s Scott Bakula entering her body right at that moment, and H. Jon Benjamin (Bob Belcher) being harassed by a sound guy, “Gary” (Leo Allen) who repeatedly played Frank Sinatra's “New York, New York.” When Benjamin remarked he's actually from Boston, “Gary” played “I'm Shipping Up To Boston” by Dropkick Murphys. The night was hosted by Eugene Mirman (Gene Belcher), featured a live musical performance of “Electric Love” from the “Topsy” episode by Stephin Merritt (The Magnetic Fields) and Kenny Melman (Kiki & Herb, The Julie Ruin) and the season premiere was shown after attendees dined on a roasted pig meal.

I never noticed the curve of her trunk. I never noticed his electric junk. "Electric Love" live!
