The electronic-prog master and visionary L.A. beat-maker wrapped up his 3D Flamagra Tour this past Friday at the Novo following a 45-date tour across the U.S with fellow Brainfeeder cohorts Brandon Coleman, Salami Rose Joe Louis, and PBDY.
The gig made for an impressive homecoming for FlyLo, as he raced through a career-spanning setlist bolstered by otherworldly immersive 3D visuals, and he even brought out close friend and collaborator Thundercat for a closing jam that included the Cosmogramma epic “Do The Astral Plane.” Comedian Hannibal Burress also introduced the show with a ten-minute stand-up bit, and overall, it was a thrilling, transporting live music experience, and a triumphant victory lap for the legendary Los Angeles producer.
