On Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, the first annual Landmark Music Festival took place in Washington, DC at West Potomac Park. The two day festival featured performances by Albert Hammond, Jr., alt-J, Band of Horses, CHVRCHES, Dan Deacon, Erik Hassle, Hiss Golden Messenger, Lord Huron, Manchester Orchestra, Miguel, The Joy Formidable, The Lone Bellow, The Strokes, Twin Shadow, U.S. Royalty, and more. The event began a national campaign to bring awareness and much needed funds to the National Mall in DC.

Landmark Music Festival helped raise money for a great cause. It’s been nearly four decades since the National Mall has been undergone a major renovation.
