Run The Jewels, Despot, and Ratking at Stage 48

Post Author: Edwina Hay

On Saturday, November 29, Run The Jewels ended their six week long tour with a two night stand at Stage 48 in New York, NY. The first show featured sets from Ratking (sans Hak), Despot (who remarked that he’s been working on his album for 6,000 years, brought out a special guest, Dev Hynes, and ended his set with “House Made of Bricks.” He was also joined by El-P and Killer Mike for an aerobics session with the audience), and Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike backed by DJ Trackstar). Towards the end of their set El and Mike brought out Gangsta Boo during their RTJ2 song, “Love Again.”

New York rappers El-P, Ratking and Despot return to NYC after being on tour together for over a month. Welcome home, gentlemen.
