Ari Roar, “Karate Again”

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Miami-based Caleb Campbell (oka Ari Roar) is a force to be reckoned with. His voice alone conjures up vintage John Lennon appeal, tranquil and subdued in its nature. Suffice it to say, we’re stoked about his next release – an EP titled Patch Me Up which he half recorded in Dallas and half after he moved to Miami Beach. We’ve got the exclusive premiere for his “Karate Again” music video right here.

If you like home videos and people dorking around, then you’re going to love the video for “Karate Again”. Not only does the name of the track edge on hilariousness, but Caleb’s facial expressions while on his road trip are spectacular. His montage of moments is like his own version of a love note to life, highlighting moments or lightning, rainbows, gas stations, and fireworks stands. It is alluringly backed up with classic instrumentals, a far cry from his previous electronic work. It’s the perfect tribute to summertime and the freedom of youth.

Patch Me Up is out on September 23rd via Golden Brown.
