In a new video for Future Islands' "Seasons (Waiting On You)", the overdone psychedelia and VHS footge is put aside in favor of a true portrait of the Great American Heartland. In a beautifully-shot clip, Jay Buim matches the old with the new by pairing Future Islands' electronic post-wave over scenes from a simpler life, proving that both can be arresting and heartfelt. The video is remarkably powerful.
Future Islands will return with their fourth LP, Singles, out on 4AD this March 25.
