Johanna Glaza’s first single “Space Mermaid” taunts her upcoming release ‘Wind Sculptures’, which will be released on September 29th. The single has already received praise from outlets such as Clash, calling the track “wonderfully off piste, reminiscent of those early Kate Bush recordings in its ability to summon an alternative world.” Glaza is a Lithuanian born, London-based artist who’s been fascinating critics and fans alike since her debut as front woman of cult alt-band Joanna and The Wolf. On leaving them in 2011 Johanna moved to New York and began concentrating on her solo work. ‘Wind Sculptures’ is a deep direct album, and describes life’s tough experiences, through passion and experience. The album invites you and makes you feel very comfortable. It is truly an influential and passionate piece.
