Portland's Minden just made one of our favorite videos of the year. We never thought a man in purple pants not named Prince could be our spirit animal, but the blonde playboy in the video for "What's More Than Appropriate?" is a vision. In a few brief minutes he won at craps, picked up a waitress by ordering a fruit cocktail, and disclosed a smart new relationship philosophy that excuses bathing with a lady without cheating on his girlfriend. That's one helluva afternoon.
"What's More Than Appropriate?" is of Minden's WMTA EP, which had we known of it sooner would have been a strong contender for our Best Music of July 2013 list. Portland, you've got more bands than anyone could realistically monitor.
