"Rat Priest" is the single off of Oxykitten's new Field Hymns cassette "Octagonal Wax" and it's another buzzing addition to their ouvre, but this video, by Eric Mellow, is really something else. First of all, it's hilarious: for some reason the imagery of a baby's head on a businessman's body holding a Basic Instinct VHS cassette really rubs our funny bone the right way. (And no, we didn't chief one yet today.) Secondly, it's a perfect accompaniment to Oxykitten's mellow yet paranoid keyboard rubs. The heart monitor is drawing you into the Blockbuster void, but everything is going to be alright as long as you can avoid the lasers on the way and make sure to keep it smooth.
