Palberta, “When I Come”

Post Author: Quinn Moreland

Lily, Ani, and Nina of Palberta don’t need much help looking like the coolest trio around, but the video for “When I Come” cements their badass gang status. “When I Come” is the opening track from the upstate New York’s debut album, My Pal Berta, so if you have yet to listen that or their sophomore record Shitheads in the Ditch, consider this your introduction. The video, filmed by Adinah Dancyger, finds the group smeared with pie, hanging with a serious looking cat, and bulking up at the gym, all set against their eerily melodic coos. The song is simple, the video is a blast.
