Rare Futures, "No Ordinary Love"

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Rare Futures has been dazzling with their groove rock sound for a minute, releasing outstanding originals and – when it comes down to it – electrifying covers. The live performance video for their cover of Sade’s “No Ordinary Love” – Live from the Cadet Academy – is one of those beautiful and wonderful things we cannot get enough of. With its star-like, glow in the dark setting, open space, and clean lines, the setting is absolutely perfect for Matt Fazzi’s ethereal vocals – which sound like a blend of John Mayer and Sting, at least while displayed in this track – to stand at the forefront.
An indicator of their live performance, we can’t wait to see what they’re up to when they pass through town on their US tour that starts this week.
