The Gooch Palms, “Don’t Look Me Up”

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

The Gooch Palms – comprised of “Aussie punk sweethearts” Leroy and Kat – released their latest record, Introverted Extroverts, in June of this year. A testament to their lives as confused humans who love to perform but are incredibly shy, the album has been highly praised for its fun demeanor. The single “Don’t Look Me Up” is one of those songs about being left alone, and we have the exclusive video premiere right here.

Apparently The Gooch Palms don’t want you to be around. “Don’t look me up, don’t come around” is a common phrase in the song, and they’re not kidding. This song is hilarious, and the video complements it quite well. Made to look like an old school video game/cartoon compilation, with our wonderful friends of The Gooch Palms rolling through each scene – super pixelated, might I add – this video is so much fun. Replete with bright colors and some of the most ridiculous ideas – Who else would ride on a spider? – we’re big fans of this end of summer treat.
