The Hazy Sea Shares Video for “Evergreen”, Announces Debut 7″

Meredith Schneider

You don’t have to be into animation to enjoy the latest music video from The Hazy Seas. Taking inspiration from bands like Foals and New Order, the band is comprised of Jack Komos, Alec Heredia, Jacob Leyba, and Tim Hutchinson, and is currently based out of Marquette.

“Evergreen”–released on its b-side “Kite Dodging” and available on their upcoming 7″–is visually stunning, as it incorporates simple drawings to tell its story. Complete with¬†psychedelic mirroring of the images and layering of vibrant colors reminiscent of tie dye, this video seems straight out of an era far more drug-induced than ours. We think it fits the vibe of the song perfectly, so you’ll just have to check it out for yourself.

“Evergreen” is out August 12th on Trouble Recordings. It is available for preorder now.
