New York based abstract group, Wooter, has been releasing a new song every Sunday of 2017 as part of a six album project. The man behind the superlative sounds is Rowan Brind. The musical polymath tells us that he has always been a writer, and the moment he embraced the guitar, he learned how to play and record, the writing just meshed very naturally.  As far as this year’s worth of written music, each album has its unique inspiration. Every song has individual artwork that is created by former member Peter Victor-Gasper.
Rowan explains what inspired the “Slow Burner” EP’s. “I wanted to simplify my music and make some songs that are slow grooving, easy listening, and something you could really sink into the couch with. Hence the name “Slow Burners”, you can really feel this in every song.”
The Multi talented bunch brings us a haunting tune named “Mirrors” one that you couldn’t forget if you tried. It’s a theme for your deep sleep on your private island. It Introduces us to an unheard genre and gives us a taste of what these brilliant musicians have to offer. Every song is written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Wooter himself.
