Duck Down back with better distro

After a successful string of independent releases by Sean Price, Buckshot & 9th Wonder, Smif N Wesson and Boot Camp Click in the past two years, Duck Down has reentered a distribution deal with Koch, whom the label left in 2005 to distribute independently. The return comes timed with the upcoming releases of Sean Price's Master P mixtape, Steele’s (of Smif N Wesson) Hotstyle Takeover mixtape and Boot Camp Clik’s Casualties Of War, as well as a yet to be named collaboration between Sean Price, Black Milk and Guilty Simpson.

In the past Duck Down has had Masta Ace signed, as well as Phife Dawg, and in 1997, their distribution company of the time, Priority Records, rejected a bid to sign Eminem for fear of including a white rapper on their roster.
