“Melter”
These guys would probably be really fun to do acid with. They were clearly having a good time on it when they wrote “Melter”, which is all visuals and delay-heavy freakouts that never get too heady. Clipd Beaks have the uncanny synergy of kids who grew up playing sunny jam band music together and presumably figuring out all at once together (in Minneapolis, apparently) that life is cold and shitty so why not move to California and make weird abrasive happy music to counter it.
Clipd Beaks are putting their debut LP, titled Hoarse Lords out on Lovepump United November 6.
