Last Saturday, shoegaze/dream-pop legends Slowdive brought their awe-inspiring live show to the House of Vans in Brooklyn, NY along with Vorhees and Farrows who were both selected by the headliners.
Despite the sweltering NYC heat and warehouse setting of House of Vans, spirits were high in the capacity crowd as Vorhees and Farrows both swirled atmospheres that were easy to lose oneself in. Thus, setting up Slowdive beautifully to unfurl their dreamy, majestic sonic tapestries, with a healthy mix of new and old songs.
I was fortunate enough to be joined by photographer Mike Petzinger who shares his shots from the evening below. Check them out and head here for more from House of Vans.
