Freeze-Tag's Marcus Alan Ward and his SP-555 creative sampler.

As things return to normal post-SxSW and some prepare for spring break, we do our very best to catch up on all the juicy news from our celebrated pop celebrities. We gawked at Beth Ditto “Standing in the Way of Control” with her disorderly conduct bust up in Portland, Peter Murphy's driving under the influence of a Subaru, and seen recently battling pneumonia in San Francisco; Morrissey has been cautioned to retire on account of numerous “medical mishaps.” He can quit all the concerts he likes but he can never quit the insufferable pain in our hearts. Now that we got all that out of the way, we commence our weekly celebrations of favorites and conclude with a special “In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb mix” from Ancient History's Donald Ducote. Turn the volume up and enjoy the presents and presence of all your indie pop friends in no particular order.

Catch the lush natural colors, produce, mannequin heads, spun records and more for the Brian Denvers directed video for Freeze-Tag's “Eskimo.” Cleveland, Ohio's Marcus Alan Ward continues his delving into what he calls 'prisma-chromatic' music that carries on the study of reverberations from the worlds above the earth's surface heard through subterranean explorations, in organic electronic bouquets that point toward the unexpected paths, and continuous growth patterns of r n' b's endless and limitless evolutions. The Eskimo EP will be available July 18 on Bandcamp and beyond.

Say “Hello Its Me” to Santiago, Chile's premiere AM dialing trippers The Holydrug Couple with their self-made video for “Follow Your Way”, assisted by Rafael Guendelman. Move your head to the band's heady 70s-kaleidescope-eyed groove, and waft up the vapors from the time tripping full-length Noctuary, available now from Sacred Bones. You can also find the Couple of Ives Sep
