What's In Yr Fridge?

Post Author:

A few months back, we found out all about the gross shit our favorite bands eat on the road. But what about at home? The contents of one's fridge are as telling as the medicine cabinet, and I'm definitely a snooper. So we asked a handful of hungry noise-makers what five items they always have in the icebox. Here's what they had to say.

Fielded
Arugula
Goddess dressing (good on everything)
Hot sauce (also good on everything)
Seltzer
Chocolate pudding

White Lung
Beer
Lemons
Club Soda
Bread
Jam

Total Slacker
Tortillas
Milk
Lettuce (for our rabbit, Taco)
Grapes
Morning Star chik'n patties

Colleen Green
I never have that many items in my refrigerator all at once!

Grooms
Field greens
Diet Coke
Pecorino Romano
Carrots
Celery

PC Worship
Venison
ice cream
questionable greens
multiple egg cartons all with one egg
leftovers

Weekends
We live with a lot of people at Open Space in Baltimore so there's always a ton of moldy vegetables on the bottom of the crisper and in the back of the fridge–spinach, lettuce, beats, kale. things like that.
Too many condiments like basically finished mustard, mayo and more exotic things like chanh muoi, mufaletta and kimchi
There's always beer in there but it's usually not mine, right now there's Fat Tire and Natty Boh
Half and half is a must, we drink a lot of coffee
-Styrafoam box of some sort of takeout, i have no idea who's it is or when or where it's from, but it's a sure bet that there will be at least one styrofoam to-go box in the fridge at all times.

Nude Sunrise
Left over Papa Johns Pizza (we all work there)
Kombucha
PBR
Limes
Takeout that wont ever be eaten again.

C. Spencer Yeh
Pickled crap other than pickles (kimchi, sauerkraut, okra, etc.)
Spicy shit (sriracha, salsa, hot pepper paste, Tabasco for the occasional Cincinnati-style chili)
Eggs (they look cool)
Mustard (usually a smooth and a coarse – fuck ketchup)
Sparkling water (Sodastream jerk raises hand)

Tinsel Teeth
Beer
Pickles
Eggs
Ketchup
Sriracha Sauce

Hubble
Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
Tropicana OJ
Chinese leftovers
Everything else rotates all the time, I actually cook a lot so most of my mainstays are in the cupboard

Narwhalz
Nothingness
Stale smell
Carton of Maverick Menthol 100s
Papa John's garlic butter sauce
DMT

Future Twin
Montara Lighthouse Greens, grown by our drummer Antonio (he stewards community farms throughout the bay)
Almond butter
Dumplings (technically in the freezer) but man I've got a dumpling obsession
Greens and produce from the Mission Community Market
Edible Nasturtium flowers grown by Little City Gardens and sometimes nasturtium pesto! (Also made by antonio). You can make pesto from the leaves, its delicious.
