Max Subar, “Morning Song”

Meredith Schneider

As Chicago’s indie folk singer/songwriter Max Subar prepares to release his debut album, he’s got a lot of things on his mind. One of them is releasing his first single. Ever. And we’ve got the exclusive premiere of that track, a song called “Morning Song” that drenches your ears in its lightweight beauty. Says Subar of the track, “‘Morning Song’ is a reflection on peace and personal awakening after a dark period of time.” As Subar’s vocals carry you on an early morning journey (“The sun is shining through…the birds are chirping too”), they come at you oddly reminiscent of Joshua Radin, an easy listening track to ease you into your day.

Tour Dates
Uncommon Ground – 4/1
Space – 4/30

In a Dream is due out March 31st. Keep up with Max Subar here.
