Having already played a live set at every bass-head’s invite only wet dream, Boiler Room, Portland based singer and electro producer, Natasha Kmeto, is already making movements. Described by Kmeto herself as “futuristic soul”, “Take out” is the first track to come from her new LP Crisis on Dropping Gems, and features vocals so sensual it’s like you’ve just picked up a collect call from Babestation. It will come as a shock to no one that Kmeto is once again combing her signature rich voice, an upbeat bassy groove and the occasional scattering of synth, to create the perfect peek into what’s to come. Keep your eyes pealed.
Crisis, Kmeto’s vinyl debut, will be released June 18, and “Take Out” can be streamed below:
