Ski Beatz' 24Hr Karate School is highly anticipated for its album title alone, but knowing the tracklist included Mos Def, Curren$y, Tabi Bonney, Cool Kids and Camp Lo only made the wait harder to bear.
With a September 7 release date finally in place, Ski will be out before the month becomes all about Mr. West's G.O.O.D. Music Day. Ski better count his lucky stars that Good Ass Job doesn't leak on the 7th. The video for “Cream Of The Planet” featuring Mos Def is out courtesy of Creative Control. The Mighty Mos has still got it, as this feels like “Universal Magnetic Pt. II” from the rapper turned actor, turned multi-tasker. 24Hr Karate School will also feature “Prowlers 2,” which we're considering the next installment in building hype for the Mos, Jay Electronica and Curren$y group Center Edge Territory – even though Jean Grae is on that song.
