Pizza is life, and, if you live in New York, pizza is the only thing you can truly rely on. It’s the ultimate comfort food, there for you from your grade school birthday parties to your drunk walks home as an existentially destroyed twentysomething. In 2009, Colin Atrophy embarked on a seemingly impossible mission—to review every cheese slice in Manhattan. It was a vision quest we could believe in, one which he chronicled extensively in his Slice Harvester zine. Two cheese-filled years and 362 pizzerias later, Atrophy accomplished his goal and Simon & Schuster is honoring this accomplishment by putting out his pizza memoir. It’s due out this August on paper-over-board (jacketless hardcover) and eBook.
