Splitting Prussia into parts

Prussia's strategy is to divide and conquer: with the announcement of their upcoming tour with El Ten Eleven, the Detroit bunch simultaneously reveal their plans for a 3-part 10” release set to span the three months they are on tour. Entitled the Poor English series, the first part dropped last night with the second and third being released in September and October, respectively. With frantic and melodious energy, Poor English, Pt. 1 is pop music that takes an adventurous approach to discussing stories of “suicide, misogyny, sexual vacancy, and crippling ennui of illusory love” by hiding them under catchy hooks and smooth vocals. “Mediator,” the first single from Part 1 is direct and abrasive, and the charming voice of singer Ryan Spencer croons insults woven into a tale of sexual desperation and contempt. Look for Parts 2 and 3 in the coming months to complete the discussion started by Part 1, which can be found on their bandcamp for download.
