The Strange Boys, "Be Brave", and a listening party

Last year we told you that The Strange Boys made "blood rush to the head faster than any representation of the garage side of Texas psych since the 13th Floor Elevators," with their debut LP, ...And Girls Club. This year they seem to be losing the garage.
Their sophomore album, Be Brave, is full of raw, outlaw blues rock that sounds like the spark of barroom brawls nation-wide. We figured we'd be the first ones to light it in public.
Be Brave officially comes out on February 23, but this Friday, February 5, you can come down to Bar Matchless in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, for the official listening party for the Strange Boys' newest album. We recommend whiskey, no chaser.
