Rolling Stones, “Hate To See You Go”

Elizabeth Schneider

The Rolling Stones‘ new album Blue & Lonesome – their first studio album in over a decade – is out December 2nd, 2016.  The official music video for “Hate to See You Go” was released this week, and goes back to their blues roots in a big way.  The song is 3:23 of pure energy – both in the video and the song.  The video is a montage of band members performing, and scenes from all types of life, including the city, nature, people, and still images.  The film crackles with vitality and exuberance and perfectly reflects the lyrics and tune of the song.

If the entire Blue & Lonesome album is anything like “Hate to See You Go”, the Rolling Stones have hit another one out of the park.
