Lil Silva offers the “don't let me down” dance red designs with the Ferry Gouw video for “No Doubt (Feat. Rosie Lowe)” from the forthcoming Distance EP available August 5 from Good Years. The London producer brings his gleaming and grimey beats tonight, July 29 to Boston's Middlesex Lounge with appearances July 31 in NYC at MoMa PS1 for a warm up before hitting up Brooklyn's Glasslands later that evening.
Silva's image and beats beam bright as quick as they become visually deconstructed by Gouw into a spiraling set of jigsaw puzzle pieces reorganized into the phased out rhythm pools. Rosie's vocal additions are met with Silva's, as they become fused together along the drum and bass club atmospheres. All this is created in accordance to his electronic dance programming, by virtue of deprogramming the trigger machinery of conventional rhythm composition into an accessible abstract set of focuses that highlights the tracks' many moving parts.
