The Icelandic legends were transcendent in Seattle with the Wordless Music Orchestra

Icelandic post rock legends Sigur Rós returned to Seattle this past week, performing new tracks as well as select hits along with the 41-piece Wordless Music Orchestra. The sold-out crowd at the Paramount were left transfixed by the stunning arrangements, which were delivered in a pair of sets covering material off their new album ATTA as well as well-known tracks from the rest of their catalogue like “Hoppípolla” and “Starálfur.”

The compositions were stunning and Jonsí’s voice was incredible as usual from beginning to end. You can dive into all the highlights from the show below.
