Whirr, Swervedriver, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart & more light up New York shoegaze fest
Slide Away, the annual traveling music festival dedicated to all things dream pop and shoegaze, hit its first stop at Brooklyn Paramount this past weekend, with a stacked lineup of genre faves including Nothing, Swervedriver, Lucid Express, Her New Knife, and reunion sets from Whirr and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Fans of shoegaze were treated to a marathon of beautiful reverb-soaked soundscapes and hazy, eye-catching stage spectacles. Feel free to scroll through below for highlights from a gloriously loud and dreamy night in Brooklyn.
