STACEY, a Toronto based soloist releases her new hit single “Trouble Is” from her upcoming EP called, First Move which is out September 15th. She has had her music featured on Degrassi, MTV Scream, Lucifer, Wynonna Earp and Orphan Black. With over 100k streams on Spotify “First Move” is a great start to her EP release in September.
The EP “First Move” was mixed was by Juno winner Jason Dufour (Coleman Hell / Lights / July Talk)
and produced by Derek Hoffman (Ralph / The Elwins) and Alan Day (Four Year Strong),
who discovered STACEY on Instagram in 2016.
“Trouble Is” gives us a glimpse of what her EP will entail. The classic ivory cuts you a scene out of a black and white noir. She speaks about her honesty that she cannot help, that love overpowers the right decisions that need to be made. Her serene vocal melodies tell us she isn’t blinded, she’s tired and just wants that lovely feeling.
