A Day At Caine’s Arcade

Post Author: Impose Automaton

Caine, a 9-year-old boy, made an entire arcade out of cardboard. Each weekend, he mans his homemade arcade outside of his father's auto parts shop in Los Angeles, CA. Filmmaker Nirvan Mullick came across Caine one day, became his first customer and subsequently made a short film about him.

The film which was posted online here, soon went viral and Caine expanded his customer base exponentially. We at Impose are huge fans of anything DIY and we were impressed with his ingenuity and ability to make his own arcade at such a young age. We asked photographer Alyson Aliano to visit the arcade after watching the video and she returned these fantastic portraits to us.

If you're interested in visiting the arcade and playing some of Caine's homemade games, the arcade is open on Saturdays and Sundays. Before heading over, check the Facebook page for hours and get a fun pass because you can play 500 games for just $2.
