Boston Calling 2018

The ninth edition of Boston Calling Music Festival, which took place May 25 – 28, brought people from throughout the Northeast, across the country and abroad to enjoy a diverse weekend of music, comedy, and film on the athletic fields and complexes at Harvard University. Though tucked between neighborhoods probably wishing for the festival to turn down, the music fans in attendance made sure to turn up and the artists on stage did not disappoint. The weather mostly held up aside from Day 3 showers and this year was a marked improvement logistically and gastronomically from last year’s edition which was the first at Harvard after previously being held at Boston’s City Hall Plaza in past years. Photographer Corwin Wickersham was on hand to catch all of the sights and sounds, from down in the pit for Jack White to a scenic ferris wheel view of Eminem’s festival-closing set and everything in between.
