Hannibal Buress’ 30th Birthday Party at Knitting Factory

How does one celebrate a milestone such as turning three decades old? Most people would throw a small party for friends and family. Comedian/writer Hannibal Buress is not one of those people. He celebrated turning 30 with a show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, February 4th that featured a 15 minute performance of his song “Gibberish Rap” (for this song, he was joined on stage by cartoon and video game characters Mario, Spongebob Squarepants, and Alvin of The Chipmunks plus ballerinas), a DJ set by the legendary Prince Paul, plus Questlove (of The Roots) and Action Bronson graced the stage that night. All of this kind of makes your 30th birthday party seem pretty lame in comparison, right?

Hannibal Buress turns 30 with Questlove, Action Bronson and cartoon characters. Seriously.
