Indie Pop Prom at 285 Kent Ave

WNYU DJ and Anxiety Block writer, Maria Sherman, celebrated turning another year older by throwing an indie pop show at 285 Kent Ave in Brooklyn, NY with sets from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Swearin’, Waxahatchee, Weed Hounds, Potty Mouth and DJ sets by Shirley Braha and Frankie Rose. Concertgoers received a discount on admission to the sold out show if they attended in prom attire.
