Ovlov, “Where's My Dini” live at Little Elephant

Video by Little Elephant

Run by engineers Rob Courtney and Brian Gross-Bias, Toledo's Little Elephant recording studio has been busy producing high quality videos for bands from all over the country, amounting to a comprehensive video series, Live at Little Elephant. Most recently, they did one for Connecticut trio Ovlov's "Where My Dini," the bummed-out summer anthem off last year's am 12", released on Exploding in Sound. Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz makes a vocal appearance on the original recording, but Ovlov singer Steve Hartlett owns it in the live session, bringing the track closer to its raw and brooding center, and giving the instruments a chance to stand out from the fuzz.
