Deathlist, the project of Jenny Logan (of Summer Cannibals fame) makes music that is heavy and romantic. In her new track “Wait,” Deathlist asks us to enter a world that is supremely goth. Throughout the song’s dark two minutes and twelve seconds, Deathlist sings in an velvety and macabre tone about waiting for the future. Says Logan of the track, “‘Wait’ is about being cut off from the thing you love and basically wasting your life waiting to die because there isn’t anything else you can do.”

Deathlist is a multi instrumentalist and plays every instrument on this track except the drums (played by Scotty McGee). The result is a song that is complex, devastating and breathtaking.
