Shlohmo's debut LP Bad Vibes is due in June, but first he's taking us to his happy "Places;" places free of woes and menacing vibrations. The title track to his Places EP is simplistic in its soothing ruminations of airy coos and acoustic plucking, but once Shlohmo begins his exploration an alternate universe opens up and we slowly reach nirvana.
The Places EP is out March 15 on Friends of Friends. The Places 7" is also out March 15. It features the unreleased track "Seriously" on the b-side.
