Scene and Heard

Friends With Benefits 1, at Bruar Falls

Photos by Jacqueline Garet » On July 8th, Impose took over Bruar Falls for our new monthly Friends With Benefits story series.  Alica Jo Rabins kicked things off with a story from her hometown of Baltimore, Pepi Ginsberg read a tour diary, and Chris Leo read an un-edited work-in-progress about working construction in New Jersey.  After a short break, Dave Hill slayed the audience with his story about gay socks, and his upcoming show at Sing-Sing Prison, and finally, Jeffrey Lewis, fresh off a Greyhound bus told us some random thoughts about the King of Pop and other things that have been going through his head.

You're lucky he just gives you butterflies... I was glad I was sitting down on a toilet in the bathroom throughout his reading because he made me shit myself
